Hi all ! My 2020 just posted (completed processing) yesterday (same day the their stimulus payments began going to bank accounts). My refund was offset (I have a Taxpayer Advocate working to clear it to be released to me due to hardship), and I want to know if my payment will still go the bank account I listed on the return even though my refund was offset. Other questions on this forum from last year say YES, but I’m concerned since many others who have my bank (CURRENT) got their payments yesterday !
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! This money is sorely needed as I’m sure it is for many of you — thank you kindly in advance and I hope you all get your payments soon !

Your stimulus should still go to your bank account of record.
Under the new law, the third round of Economic Impact Payments cannot be offset to pay various past-due federal debts or back taxes.
Please see the IRS's IRS begins delivering third round of Economic Impact Payments to Americans page for more information.
Thank you ! I am one of the many seeing Payment Status Not Available and an in dire need of this. If anyone has any recommendations on whom to call this would be very much appreciated! Thank you kindly in advance !
You can check the status of your stimulus and refund through the IRS website using your IRS Online Account.
