HELP! Need to change direct deposit account on tax refund!

I filed my taxes a couple days ago and entered my bank account information for direct deposit, only to discover the card associated with the account has been closed, and I misplaced the debit card! I opened a new account and need to update my refund direct deposit information. How can this be done? Very scared my refund will be deposited into a bank account that is closed and I will be unable to access it! Please help!!

Once the tax return has been filed the method to receive the tax refund cannot be changed.

When the IRS attempts to deposit the tax refund to the closed account, the refund will be rejected.  The IRS will then mail the refund check to the address entered on the tax return.

I am amending my 2019 taxes and the bank account I filed for 2019 is now closed. How can I update that while amending and if unable to, do I need to call IRS?
