Well...you will not be able to e-file if you are claiming your daughter. Her SSN has now gone into the system for this year, so if you claim her you have to print, sign and mail your own return. Her return can be amended so that the answer about being claimed on someone else's return can be fixed, but it will not be processed in time for you to e-file this year.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Expect a long wait for your mailed tax return to be processed. Mailed returns have been piled up for months and the IRS is just beginning to work their way through the backlog.
For your daughter's return--wait for hers to be fully processed before amending it (and expect a very long wait for it to be processed):
How do I amend my 2019 TurboTax Online return?
A 1040X cannot be e-filed. It must be printed and mailed. It will take about 4 months for the IRS to process an amended return. It is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, like UPS or certified mail, so you will know it was received.
Wait about 3 weeks from mailing and you can check the status of your amended return:

You can amend your daughters return to check that box, unfortunately that will NOT reset it so that you can e-file this year - and amended returns take about 6 months to process.
Your only option is to print and paper file this year.
I did the same thing. So I have mailed her amended federal return and mailed our married filing jointly federal and New Jersey and New York returns(!). Do I need to amend my daughter's New Jersey return? I did the amendment and I does not have any different information than the original return.
