One of the options you can select when you are ready to file is to get a refund advance loan,    You do not receive any money until your e-file has been accepted by the IRS—-and the IRS will not begin to accept e-files until January 29.

Link your TurboTax account to Credit Karma

And the money is not issued until your e-file is accepted by the IRS.

you didn't answer the question! The person is stuck just like I have been since 1/23 preapproved but when ck says we located your account and takes you back to turbo tax, it repeats....... over and over again! yes, the accts are linked and yes cache and cookies deleted, tried different browsers, different computers......it would be nice if one of you knew something about this issue

@babygurl_03_rs

Hello đź‘‹ did you ever get your accounta to sync correctly? I'm having the same issue. Both my federal and state returns were accepted just hours after I filed. CK received show my state as accepted but my federal still says N/A, even though it's been accepted. If I go to the help section and click on refund tracker and than click on my state accepted link it shows that I filed my federal but that's it. Just N/A and I can't get the refund advance till my accounts sync the information from TurboTax correctly. Of course absolutely no help from CK, TT, or Intuit. All say I have to call the other. So frustrating. If got the issue resolved maybe point me in the right direction. Thanks

You can initiate the link from either app, though most people do it while choosing how to receive their refund.

Within TurboTax (During Filing)

  1. This is the most common way to link them, especially if you want the Refund Advance or 5 Days Early refund features.
  2. Reach the Refund section of your tax return (usually near the end).
  3. Select Deposit to a Credit Karma Money™ account as your refund method.
  4. TurboTax will prompt you to sign in to your Credit Karma account.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize the data sharing between the two accounts.

Within the Credit Karma App

If you haven't started your taxes yet, you can link them to import data.

  1. Open the Credit Karma app.
  2. Tap the "Tax" or "Money" tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select "File with TurboTax" or "Get Started."
  4. You will be asked to log in with your Intuit/TurboTax credentials. Once logged in, the accounts will be linked for the season.

Via "Switch Products" or "Tax Tools"

If you are already in TurboTax and want to link them before the "Refund" stage:

  1. Go to Tax Tools > Tools on the left menu.
  2. Look for a prompt or "offer" related to Credit Karma Money or Refund Advance.
  3. Clicking these will usually trigger the account linking process.
