@shood212 hello, just curious did you file with turbotax? The eitc or any other tax credit? Did you ever receive a letter stating to wait 60 days but no action required. I haven't had any updates.
Same however, I claimed single. Hopefully we update on Saturday. Wish the IRS had a separate floor or group of irs agents who just worked on refunds that claimed these tax credits or specific flagged returns. I feel like some irs agents see our refunds and just skip to do the "easier" ones.
@Jmjanda yes . Some people I've read say they say this because they backed up but it could be they're just pushing off all the difficult ones until a later time . But yes I've received that 60 day notice with no action and have been patiently waiting. The next big update for the whwres my refundnon irs website or app will be on Saturday at 3am to 6am, but majority could be any time that day. Hope we we update to those direct deposit dates (DDD).. Good luck hope you get yours soon
I posted bout 10hrs ago from now and status update! Just checked my bank account and the state refund is now pending! Waiting on that federal! 😄
@Jessica16 I used turbo tax and yes I claimed child care and the child credit's. I didn't receive anything in the mail about a review, this is the first time something like this has happened
Has anyone received their refund? I have EIC and I expect it to be longer but I filed on 01/27. According to Turbotax, the IRS accepted my refund and approved my refund (TurboTax emailed me this shortly after filing).
I check the IRS website every day and it continually says the same thing.. “we have received your return and it is being processed”. I haven’t seen any bars or dates or anything else but this. This is so irritating. I am stressing so bad.. seems it’s only TurboTax customers. I’ll pay to have mine filed next year. I can’t take the wait and the worry.
No I haven’t received mine either and I filed 1/27 and accepted 1/29! I tried calling multiple numbers and nothing. So upset.
I’ve tried using the IRS2Go app and it says the same thing as the irs number “we cannot provide you any information on your refund”! What now? Why no update?
I agree with you completely. This is so frustrating. I haven’t received mine either and they keep saying the same thing “we cannot provide you any information about your tax refund”! Yet no updates either.
I filed on the 6th of fed the turbo tax say accepted same day, when I called the irs they say the 7th. I have no bars on the WMR app and it's still saying processing, it' will be 30 dys come tomorrow since I electronically filed. It dont make sense that they are holding it this long if they have questions I have answers so why just hold it. When I spoke to the irs they said it's in review and that it could take 45 more dys. they say call after 21 dys to get an update but the irs dont have one either.🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😭😭
Has anyone received there's yet??
No!!!! I am aggravated. Trying to call IRS now.
Has anyone received their EITC? It’s March and I’ve got nothing!
I filed my taxes with eic on Jan 24 they were approved on January 27. I have checked the where is my refund religiously and it only says it is being processed. I called automated as well to see if there was some issue and nada. Going in seven weeks and getting very frustrated.

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Then press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
It should then transfer you to an agent.
