I filled out my bank info somewhere between april 20th thru 24th. It was late because for days it wouldnt let me do a thing, just kept giving me error messages. Anyway, it's been 3 weeks and still the same, "when we get your date" info comes up. Anyone get theres yet?
Just checked, like I do every morning since April 16th. Nothing. No change. 😢
Morning! Still no change in my status as well. I know this article won’t answer all of everyone’s specific situations or questions. BUT, IF YOUR 2019 RETURN IS STILL BEING PROCESSED, THIS ARTICLE STATES THE FOLLOWING:
“So, until the IRS processes their returns, their stimulus payment eligibility cannot be determined.”
It has been said...
The info about amended returns was from the 2008 stimulus payment. It doesn’t apply now.
Although I did receive my $1200 stimulas check on 4-29-2020 I did NOT receive the $500 dependent child payment. Everything I've found says to file again in the 2021 taxes to get that. Which doesn't help now when I need it the most. I also have a autistic and disabled child. I also have my oldest whom is autistic and disabled as well, so being shorted like this really puts a damper on things. I totally understand your frustration and am in the same position.
Has anyone sent a message to the IRS through the IRS contact form on the website.
I have and let them know about the “Forgotten 15thers” and CNN...
I think everyone on this forum should take a minute and use the IRS contact form so you can be heard. They aren’t taking calls, so why not send them a message through their website. Took me a minute to find their contact form, but it was found. I think more people should look towards contacting them that way. Right at the source.
Be grateful you got the 1200 alot of us are in the same or worse situation as you and haven't received a penny in over 3 months I'd gladly give up my 500 for my dependent to get my 1200 or my taxes or unemployment or anything for that matter. You'll probably have to wait till you file taxes next year for the remaining 500
It's May 11 and I've entered my bank info way back in April, yet I'm still getting this message. The only thing I can think of is that my tax refund for 2019 is still being processed. Even though I filed that in February, I was missing a year (2016) and I had to mail a hard copy of that in. So now that is holding everything up (so I assume.)
I don't owe back taxes, child support and don't receive SSI. But it's extremely frustrating to know that this isn't moving thru quickly. I need this money just like everyone else and yet deceased people are getting their payments faster than I.
Very stressful.
@athomas0647 I hear ya! It sucks. There’s quite a few people on here that still have their 2019 return processing. It makes absolute logical sense that that’s why we would not received any stimulus since they are determining your stimulus based on your most recent return.. here is a article the pretty much agrees. Best of luck
I suggest everyone join the Facebook group. It is moving at light speeds, with new info every other min.
Not sure if this is true, but someone just posted this...
."They said those of us that entered 4/15 they are having to cross reference and manually enter due to the glitch. They are aware of the issue. So I’m assuming it’s quicker for them to mail the check then to manually enter all our account numbers"

I updated my banking info on april 17 and when i check the irs site it still says "when date is available it will update" What in the flip is going on!!!! I could really use that money, given i still havent gotten my fed tax refund either and my taxes were recieved on Jan 28th....i make less than 14,000 a year what could possibly be so hard about getting me my refund~
I get that same message and have no way of knowing when i will get mines
@PWALKER22 I’ve done that: sent the IRS a message on their website, DAYS ago, and it says you should get a response within 48 hours, but still no response as of today. The thing that angers me the most is not having received my money, but not being given any answers or acknowledgement of the issue along with an explanation or some type of assurance that we indeed have not been forgotten.
I'm having the same issue I give up on trying to figure out why I've not received my money
That's not true about if it's still processing because I know 5 people who taxes who is still processing and still got stimulus. I also have a brother who is being audited and still got his.. It's just a big f up which it should matter about the processing of your regular taxes.. Now we got to go through some MF procedures just to get a few dollars the government is Hell.. Wtf I think every state should deal with their own people because this some BS..
