Has anyone filed a return with turbo tax that was accepted on 2/12/21 and still not receive a refund? The WMR on the irs.gov has said still processing..HELP?

Also, I claim 3 dependents and I did receive stimulus based off my 2019 return. Have never had issues with my refunds before.

The IRS can research the status of your refund if it has been more than 21 days. Call 1-800-829-1040. Also check Where’s My Refund.

It is possible your tax return is being delayed due to a processing issue with your stimulus. The IRS will calculate the correct amount of the Recovery Rebate Credit, make the correction to your tax return and continue processing your return. If a correction is needed, there may be a slight delay in processing your return and the IRS will send you a notice explaining any change made. Other reasons your return may be delayed:

  • Includes errors
  • Is incomplete
  • Is affected by identity theft or fraud
  • Includes a claim filed for an Earned Income Tax Credit or an Additional Child Tax Credit. See Q&A below.
  • Includes a Form 8379, Injured Spouse Allocation PDF, which could take up to 14 weeks to process
  • Needs further review in general
