Has anyone ever received a refund verification needed letter from Virginia before? It wants images of paystubs and oddly bank statements.

I was just wondering how long did it end up taking after verification for you to receive your state taxes.

It's been a while but I think it was at least a month. It always takes a while for Virginia to process anything.

A month....that is AWFUL!!! I wonder how long before you finally received your refund. I too received this verfication letter. Each year I keep being sent through hoops but when I owed income taxes the funds were sent Jimmidie Split!!!! to the IRS of course

@gchulme This is an old thread with posts from multiple users from several years ago.  We cannot tell what link you are referring to, nor can we determine what your issue is now in 2025.   What are you trying to do?
