So I’ve checked nothing yet on my end, some people  are now saying it won’t be accepted till the 27th. Some have received their refund with eic but filed with H&RB

The IRS will begin accepting returns on January 29, 2018. However some returns may be accepted before that as part of the IRS testing, please see the following link.

I filed mine today and it was accepted today.  The IRS tests their system every year, and accepts some tax returns early, before they officially open for the season.

Yes, that has happened to me in years past. I wish Uber would send me my 1099 so I could send in my return.

That is clearly not true. My return has already been accepted and is pending on the IRS website through Where is my Refund however Turbotax hasnt received the memo!!
