Thank you, VolvoGirl, but the answer YOU gave is helpful, not the drivel that was "recommended" by someone at TurboTax, That "recommended answer" is pathetic and should have been removed or annotated by a moderator. But whatever. This is the whole insane problem with "Forums" - that all kinds of nice people like you paradoxically keep going by compensating (somewhat) for lack of technical support from the PEOPLE WHO WROTE AND SOLD THE PROGRAMS users suffer with.
But again, whatever. Thanks. I really hate this. Companies, especially big ones like Turbotax and Apple should have reliable tech support in the form of chat or telephone. They can afford it. Their executives are just greedy bastards who don't care as long as sales are proceeding. That's all there is to this and "we" customers allow it by nicely (at least you are nice; me maybe not so much) by weirdly DOING THEIR JOB FOR THEM. These support forums are a fascinating sociological phenomenon that allow the executives to laugh at us customers from their yachts and planes.
