How can I make sure that the tax return was accepted by IRS since I didn't receive the confirmation email yet it says it got accepted?

Go to our e-file status lookup tool to get your current status.
(Or, if you've got an Alexa device, you can enable it to check for you.)

Keep in mind:

E-filing status is about what stage of the process your return is in.
Refund status is about when you can expect you refund. If that’s what you’re interested in, go to Where's My Refund?
