Form 8801 for AMT Carryforward not generating

I used 2023 Turbo Tax Deluxe. I was hit with AMT for buying ISOs but not selling so Form 6251 was generated, but not form 8801. I tried to go back in to amend my tax return so that form 8801 could generate so I can have that carryforward, but it will not let me. I enter form 8801 in the help section, but in going through the form, the form returns with that I have no carryforward.

I clicked on:

* I exercised ISOs in 2023, but didn't sell the stock in 2023. Or I sold ISOs in 2023 that I purchased in a previous year.

*Enter my ISO Adjustment: $74,226

* Did you sell ISOs in 2023 that you purchased in a previous year? I have zero entered as both for ISO adjustments.

It says your AMT is $15,847 and then I click on continue and then it goes back to the Here's the AMT info we've got for you.

What am I missing that I am not clicking or entering correctly that it will not generate the form 8801? Thank you in advance.
