My wife and I have regular IRAs. we each had RMDs which we satisfied. My wife had a QDC to cover her RMD but there is no Form 8606 generated.

To clarify, did your wife make nondeductible contribution and therefore had a basis in the traditional IRA? Please see Who Must File 2025 Form 8606 for additional information.
To enter the QCD:
My wife and I both have a basis from previous contributions, but not this year. The QCD, the RMD are both listed in the right places and are correct. We had the same situation last year and got a 8606 for each of us.
Are you sure the 8606 isn't generating in the pdf? Are you currently using the desktop program or the online program?
The 8606 is part of the PDF. It is NOT, however, in the list of FORMS in VIEW FORMS. The Form 8606-T is in the "Forms in My Return" column, but the Form 8606-S is not in the list. I kept looking in this list of forms and did not think to look in the PDF.
