Filled my taxes in March still have not seen a refund check?

sent in paperwork via mail in March 5 month later still no refund check and calling the IRS is a waste of time NO REAL PERSON ANSWERS! HOW do i find out where my check is?

Do not mail it again. The IRS is behind on updating their website. The IRS is taking a long time this year. Plan on 6 months or more. All you can do is be patient and keep waiting. Even efiled returns are taking 6 months.

The IRS is still processing 2020 returns. As of June 21, 2022 the IRS is almost done processing 2020 returns, filed in 2021. See,

@catz6469 - the IRS is woefully backlogged, especially on paper filed return. At noted, assume it will be 6-9 months from the time you filed until the return is processed. you won't be able to see anything on WMR until they begin processing the return.
