Filed online and pay later

I used efile through TurboTax, and have a tax due that I originally planed on sending in a check but now decided to pay through IRS online account.
Has anybody tried to efile and pay through the IRS online account and know how quickly IRS updated the online account that shows the latest filing/update? My efile has been accepted by IRS but my online account hasn’t been updated yet (to show the amount owned). Can I still pay through IRS online even though my online account doesn’t reflect to my latest year tax return status? Thanks!
