Filed NYS forms, but TurboTax says "forms not finalized", so cannot print

I filed our Fed and NYS tax forms, went to print a copy for our files.  Fed printed.  NYS will not print, as "forms have not been finalized".   How can TurboTax allow filing without forms being finalized?   No indication of when forms may be finalized, nor any info on whether I will have to amend my filing when the forms are finalized.

This error has been patched. All you need to do now is update your TurboTax Desktop software, and you should be able to print. From the help article - "Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software":

If you're having trouble automatically updating TurboTax 2025 for Windows, you can manually update it by following these steps:

Close TurboTax.

Select this link to download the update.

Open the file w_perrelsuperpatch... and install the manual update.

After you print, verify that all the forms included in your state return contain tax year 2025 in the upper left-hand corner.
