Federal Taxes Filed 4/14/22

I wanted to look at my Filed Fed return on 5/24/22 after having filed. When I go into the software I HAVE TO install updates to continue. I did.

Then after I looked at my 1040 form I Saved the TT file. I recall I did this (looked at my filed return for 2021 taxes) another time earlier After filing. **QUESTION: WHAT were the updates since 4/14/22 when I filed and is the now newly saved TT file going to be the RIGHT info for me to import in TT Premier 2023 when I do my 2022 return? 

Also I didn't yet file my MD state return b/c it is due Jul 15 2022.

NOW that I have updated the TT software in my 2021 tax record in TT, has my MD return changed? I HAD completed my MD return back about April 14, 2022 but JUST did not file it yet b/c of the later due date for MD. I need to understand this as this has never been clear -- the subsequent TT software updates and how that effects (or doesn't) the newly saved TT record for that year and the import for the next year tax return. Thanks

TurboTax doesn’t make clear what changes when it updates. The updated file is the “right “ one and that information will be carried over to the next year.
