I have the desktop version of turbotax. I just e-filed both federal and state taxes (Massachusetts). Both were rejected with the message that that I should have (or will) receive a form 1095-A. this is incorrect. all of my insurance for 2022 was through my employer and was the same private insurance. I did use Mass Health the year before for about half of the year but it's not applicable this year. How can I get past this error? The charges to my credit card for filing via e-filing have already hit as well. Thanks.

The IRS has information that someone in your household should have a 1095-A. This could be because you or a dependent had Marketplace insurance in a previous year, or because a form is stuck in your return.
If you've confirmed that no one on your return had insurance through the Marketplace for tax year 2022, but the IRS mistakenly thinks they did, it’s OK to create a Form 1095-A with minimal information in it to satisfy the IRS for e-file purposes. If you use this method, and it contradicts what the Marketplace has on record, then you may receive a CP2000 Notice from the IRS.

thanks so much. I appreciate your response and will give this a try.
HI @CatinaT1 CatinaT1 I tried the steps you mentioned but they don't work. TurboTax is not liking zero in the Marketplace Identifier field or anything else I try and put in there (1s, 123, etc.). I also tried putting zero into the A. Monthly Premium column for all of the months but that didn't help either.
My son had Mass Health this year so he got a 1095-B, not an A. I don't know why they are requiring the 1095-A and I can't even get this 'dummy' information to get accepted. any other ideas? Thanks.
