How do I fix e-file reject F8962-070?
by TurboTax•13235• Updated 2 months ago
E-file reject F8962-070 happens when your return is missing Form 1095-A Health Insurance Marketplace Statement.
Important: If you'll get a 1095-A, wait until you've received it to file your tax return. Filing without it will result in a rejection from the IRS. You should receive a Form 1095-A by mid-February if you purchased health insurance through the government.
First, find your 1095-A form. If you don’t have it, download it from HealthCare.gov or your state's Marketplace.
Once you have your form, using TurboTax Online/Mobile:
- Go to the Do you have Form 1095-A info ready? screen.
- Answer the questions and continue through to enter the details from your Form 1095-A.
- When you’re done, select File from the left menu and continue through to refile your return.
