Enter bank routing numbers on state tax return

When I try to enter routing number, software will only allow 9, not required, 10 numbers. ???

All bank routing numbers are 9 digits. It may have an extra zero at the end or beginning. 

It should be the number directly to the left or right of your account number.

You may want to contact your bank as some banks have specific routing numbers for direct deposits.
