Endless E-file error loop "Return in an amended return." but I keep selecting paper option

I'm trying to amend my 2020 taxes. My initial filing I e-filed Federal and paper filed Colorado. I haven't changed these options and keep going back to make sure they are still not set to e-file for Colorado and I am getting stuck in an endless error check loop stating I can't e-file Colorado because it is an Amended return and I didn't e-file Colorado initially and I'm not trying to e-file it for this amended return.

This issue doesn't appear to hinder filing Federal or Colorado so I went ahead and did that. However, it is a little bit disconcerting that the error check is stuck in an endless loop regardless of what settings I change with regard to electronic or paper filing for both Federal and Colorado.
