Email error?

I received an email from Default Resolution Group Servicing Center (for my student loans). I didn’t get my taxes because it all went towards owed student loans. The email is stating that I’m owed a refund for involuntary payments that was received from my federal tax. What exactly does this mean?

It sounds like the amount of your refund was more than necessary to bring your student loan account current.  You should be issued a refund of the difference. They will send to you.
