E-filed 2020 Amended Return and IRS Tax Account

I e-filed my original 2020 return on April 19, which was accepted and processed months ago, and I e-filed a 2020 federal amended return last week, and it was accepted Monday (according to an email).  I checked my IRS online account today and now it says that "your 2020 tax return has not been processed" and I can't see anything relating to the 2020 return, it says my last filed return was 2019 now.  In "where's my amended return" there's no indication of the 2020 amended return either.  Is this normal for an e-filed amended return, or is something wrong?

Even during “normal” times it takes about four months for the IRS to process an amended return.  During the pandemic and due to the severe backlog at the IRS it is taking much longer—six months or more for many amended returns.  Do not expect quick results from amending.  When the IRS issues a refund for an amended return it will be by check.  They do not make direct deposits for refunds for amended returns.  You can watch for information here:

My issue is not that it is taking too long to process, my issue is that 2 days after I efiled the 2020 amended return my IRS account looks like my original 2020 federal return has disappeared, and the amended return doesn't appear on "where's my amended return".
