Do state refunds take longer to be accepted? I was told it would be 48 hours but today it's been 1 week and I'm worried something is wrong with it.

We do not have the exact timeframe that it takes for each individual state to accept returns. However, you can check out this Help Article for instructions on how to track your state refund.

If the IRS has accepted your e-filed return, you can check the status of your refund by going directly to https://www.irs.gov/refunds.

@MoniqueLO_  it’s been 18 days since I submitted it and it’s still pending. I looked at the state website and they said they haven’t gotten it yet. Is there a way to talk to someone here about what the hold up is?
