Do I need to file an amended return if I forgot to enter Medicare B premiums. When I put it in post submission, it made no difference to Fed or California bottom line.

I did enter the Social security income correctly, only left out the Medicare B premiums amount.   When I post filing-submission made the inputs, It made no difference in the bottom line amounts calculated by TurboTax for either Federal or California state taxes, thus do not think it matters and do not need to submit an amended return.  Is this correct?

Yes.  If adding the Part B premiums made no difference in your tax liability (which would be true most of the time) there is no need to amend your tax return.

However, I would think  Turbo Tax would have generated a message, at least during final checks, asking about the omission since most everyone getting Social Security payments after 65 and retired would be signed up Medicare and paying part B premiums.  Might suggest that for future updates.
