Do I have to wait until my state return is accepted before I can amend both federal and state? I'm not seeing the "Amend(change) 2023 return" option yet?

You cannot amend a 2023 return yet. You need to wait for the returns to be fully processed before you amend. The 1040X for 2023 will not be available until late February.

Yes, you have to wait until your taxes returns are fully processed before you amend them.

The amendment option won't be available until mid-February.
