My taxes are showing accepted status in Turbotax program, but showing recieved and in processing on the IRS refund tracker site. How can this be? And is anyone else experiencing this?

I wonder if it’s the same as mine, where it doesnt show the bar anymore, just goes to a page that says “your taxes are being processed, we will give a date when one is available”

This is normal. TurboTax updates what stage your return is in and the IRS site updates when you can expect your refund:

    • E-filing status is what stage of the process your return is in.
    • Refund status is when you can expect you refund.

Once your tax return has been submitted, the most up to date information will come from the IRS.

It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates.

All the information I am getting is directly from the IRS website, not including any information from TurboTax. Im def past the 3 week mark, just seeing if anyone else had a similar issue.

If your return  "Accepted" within 24 hours you can start tracking your refund on the IRS  Where’s My Federal Refund? site.

Where’s My Refund? has a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages: (1) Return Accepted Received, (2) Refund Approved and (3) Refund Sent.

The IRS issues most refunds in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review.

Now if you claimed "Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC)" you may experience a refund hold. The IRS usually begins issuing tax refunds on returns with the EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit in late February.

Some 2019 federal refunds are delayed due to the PATH Act
