Hi all,
I rented from a property management company in Minnesota in 2022-2023. I did not rent from them in 2024. It appears they filed a CRP for me in 2024. This is preventing me from filing my taxes. I’m unable to remove the CRP since the document was uploaded by the property manager and is not one of my documents.
Attempted solutions:
I called TurboTax support and they recommended contacting the property management group to resolve from their end. I have left several messages for them but am unable to get in touch with them.
Are there any alternate solutions here?
Thanks for your help!
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Keep records of all your attempts to correct the situation. Make one more call and let them know your next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau to report them. If you don't hear from them, contact BBB.
You can paper file and attach a statement that you were not able to efile due to an incorrect CRP on your file. Keep the wording short and simple. It will be read in a hurry by busy people and needs to get moved to an easy fix stack not a deep investigation stack.
