The direct deposit info I listed in my tax return was for a closed account. I opted for “pay with refund” and “5 day early”. I called IRS and they provided account and routing number for cross river, confirming that’s where my return was sent. Cross River/Turbo tried to deposit funds in my account on 2/19 but my bank rejected and sent back 2/23 since the account was closed. Will I be receiving a check from Cross River or the IRS? It’s is now 3/7, and Turbo tax status shows as refund “pending”.

I am having the exact same problem and just keep getting the run around the irs says cross river has my money cross river says turbo tax does and turbo tax says they sent it back to the irs and the irs says they didnt. my ,omey was sent to cross river on 2/19 and rejected on 2/20 now noone knows where it is and it has been 16 days and i still have no clue where my money is i will never use turbo tax again every year for the last few years there has been something wrong somewhere,

My refund has been sitting in a account with cross river bank since feb 20th, they claim they have to get the “ ok” to release my funds from turbo tax but turbo tax is saying something else, turbo tax sent an email showing that fees was taken outta my refund as well so what is the hold up , I am a customer of turbo tax , not cross river, therefore , when your customers have an issue with your business partners , partners you introduced to YOUR customers, u should make sure things go smoothly,be the first and only resource to fixing any issues, u offered a service to your customers, and it wasnt delivered, I shouldn’t have to go on a duck hunt to look for my money and then when I find it, it’s just sitting an account with a bank I don’t know or don’t do business with , all of this for a 5 day early option , 5 days turned into to 3 weeks ongoing ,been a loyal customer for almost 10 yrs , this right here , I am never ever filing with turbo tax again, I am pissed

Over 10,000 and Noone can give me information of where my money is.faxed 3911 for to the irs bc they said they dont have my money.i will never use turbo tax and im ready file a lawsuits bc a supervisor told me that they have been having issues witb this bank this season.they should not have put their clients funds in their accounts if they were having issues.

This is the exact same situation same dates and everything that I am in. If you find a solution please let me know and I will do the same. This is infuriating. I have always used turbo as well but they just lost me as a customer too.
I called them and you wont be able to get to anyone..they ask you for your social and all then the phone hangs up.i dont get why it's so hard for us to get our money. Everybody keeps saying turbo tax has it but they say cross river has it and I called then and couldnt get anyone either.i have been calling since the 25th and Noone can tell me where my money is.turbo tax will be hearing from a lawyer soon and so will cross river for more than then 10 bands at that.this is messing with my mental making all these calls repeating the same thing
@trishlpn10 No, do not contact SBTPG as it is a different financial institution than Cross River Bank.
They only get it if its released to the IRS but that bank has our money yall
Exactly I feel the same way I’ve been on thr phone missing work hours trying to locate my refund. My refund was for $17,000. I am livid and just sick. I will never use turbo tax again and I’ve always been a loyal customer
Same , over 12k and I had to fill out this form with turbo tax,basically to get the money back to the irs and the irs cut me a check directly, was told it can take up to 14weeks, it was either that or I wait 8 weeks and turbo tax cut me a check through San Barbra (whatever the bank is called) but then she said , she wasn’t sure if they still did that smh, I just said f it and filled the form out to get the process going .. this really suck and I have so much to do and things to pay ..
So what do we do
Omg that makes me physically sick. I need the money now or I will loose a lot. This is ridiculous.
