I'm having this same issue . I always use h and r block but decided to use turbo tax this year for the advanced refund . But now it seems like everything is all messed up and I'm stressing so bad. Please someone help us!!
I'm so stressed! I'm calling them now!
Did you file jointly ?
Yes all info same as the past 6 years .
They said the person who's name its filed under needs to be same name the credit karma account is under, even if you're married so if you use "sam" info to look up your refund status then the credit karma account has to belong to "sam" .
If the primary taxpayer on your tax return isn't the account holder on your Credit Karma account, Credit Karma may not be able to process your advance.
The primary taxpayer is the one listed first on your tax return. For Credit Karma purposes, the account holder needs to be the primary taxpayer on your return.
Check to see if the primary taxpayer on your tax return is the same person whose name the Credit Karma account is in. To do this in TurboTax Online:
If the primary taxpayer isn't the account holder, you can update the information on that screen to switch the order of you and your spouse.
Yes everything is exact same on all accounts . Phone number ,address, name all of it .
I already said that
She also said sometimes it takes 48 hours after the irs process and approves it to pop up, did you get those documents confirming you applied with your refund documents?
We here in the Tax Advice Forum really have no idea what Credit Karma is doing with your Refund Advance. All we can do is pass on info so that you can get your issue resolved with them.
The Refund Advance is a Loan provided by First Century Bank against your tax refund, disbursed to you by Credit Karma. When you view/print your return, you will have Loan Documents that may provide more info.
Here's a link with Offer Details and Disclosures.
It doesn't provide any additional information, I've already answered my own questions.
