I've amended my 2023 return on web version of TT. Federal rejected due to IND-182-01 (IP PIN needed to be updated.) I went back to online TT to amend 2023 and it just gave me option to download file and open in the desktop TT. Downloaded desktop TT and opened file. Corrected my IP PIN to match current 2024 filing number. Then I am still unable to file electronically (indicating by the process I could continue to do so), due to an error "Correct Signature Date" error. I am only able to enter dates from 1-1-24 to 1-31-24 and clearly today's date (2-9-25) cannot be entered. How do I resolve this issue? Or is this signature date asking for something other than today's submission date for my 2023 ammended federal? THanks.

I don’t think you can efile a prior year amended return. Unless they opened efiling for it. You have to print and mail it.
Enter any date that TurboTax will be happy with.
to E-File 2023 1040-X now you must enter the IP-PIN you have been assigned for 2024.
I tried a date that fits the criteria, and wouldn't accept it. :(
I have the same issue, trying to amend a 2023 return now (original return was e-filed successfully).
@fanfare: you positive that changing the date to fit TT criteria will not create an issue with the IRS?
Thank you
