Checking Status of E-file

I completed E-filing Federal and State yesterday Thursday morning 2/27 and early in the afternoon I received two text messages from Turbo Tax indicating that both had been accepted and to check for a confirmation email.  I haven't received any email messages and wanted to know if the referenced email is a followup directly from the IRS Fed/State?   I just tried to check the state website for status of the refund but it stated that the SSN and refund amount don't register.  I assume that means I'm checking too early?

Just keep checking back and the status will change. TurboTax does not receive updates from the IRS once they have accepted your return. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly.

• The TurboTax Refund Tracker projects an estimated date range on when you can expect your refund.
