You made a thousand dollar miscalculation and IRS caught it.

Check by looking at your actual Form 1040.  The refund amount that was submitted is on Line 20a.

If the IRS lowered your refund, you should get a letter from them in about 3 weeks or so explaining why.

If you also had a state refund, be sure the 6354 figure is not considering a total refund amount that includes the state refund.  

it could also be something as simple as a decimal or comma in the wrong place during return preparation, or reversed numbers, etc.

Your tax return was Accepted (received) for processing.  It does not mean the amount was Approved, and the IRS can still make changes to it.
