Charges and no refund yet

Anybody else receive and email saying they are going to debit your account for the amount that was agreed for doing your tax done but you still haven’t received your federal return? I filed Feb 2, waited 21 days and I got a letter in mail from the IRS that I was missing my insurance coverage information, I had to send copies of my insurance coverage thru the regular mail, this year the app never asked for it and I have friends that have the same issue while filing well now I’m being charged the fee even though it was the apps fault for not asking like other years, been doing my taxes with turbo tax for over 5years and liked it because no hassle and fast but at this point I think I will look for another way to file my taxes next year.
