Can I review/edit the question regarding if I received the stimulus check in 2020? I had to change myself to independent but now that would qualify me for the stimulus.

Just to clarify, I could not receive the stimulus checks last year because I was marked as a dependent from the year before (2019).

Yes. You can edit/review the stimulus questions. In TurboTax Online, to get to the Recovery Rebate Credit section

Type stimulus in Search in the upper right
Click jump to stimulus
Say NO to It looks like you qualified for the stimulus, did you get any payments?
Enter the actual payment amounts you received ($0 and $0).
TurboTax will add the $1,200 and $600 payments to your refund as a Recovery Rebate Credit on line 30 of Form 1040.
