Can I print my state returns and not include them with the federal 1040?

Also, can I print a copy of my federal taxes when e filing?

Once you pay TurboTax fee, you can print.

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if necessary for any reason.
AND, to find your AGI next year.

Never include your state return in a mailing of 1040 to IRS.

You mean you only want to file federal now?  To not file state you can delete it.

Then you can add it again later.  But you don't file state together with federal, you have to wait until your federal refund is Accepted to efile it or mail state.
