Can i get my w-2 taxes back into another bank-account because my bank-account is closed due to inactivity?

I returned back to my country and my bank account is closed. I am trying to take my taxes back but I do not have access to the bank account. I only have my friends bank accounts active there.

If you are in a foreign country-----the IRS will not make a direct deposit to a foreign bank account.  They will only mail you a check to the address on your tax return.

Using someone else's bank account is a very bad idea.

It can generally take four to six weeks after receipt for a change of address request to fully process, however there may be delays.
