Can I pay Turbo tax for a copy of my last years return?

No.  If you purchased and installed the 2022 TurboTax software on a personal computer and the computer crashed then there is no way to retrieve the 2022 tax data file. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

If you use TurboTax Online to prepare your taxes, we'll keep a secure copy of your tax return for you to access online.

You can get a copy of your return from the IRS. T he Internal Revenue Service (IRS) can provide you with copies of your tax return from the most recent seven tax years. You can request copies by preparing Form 4506 and attaching payment of $43 for each one. Once the IRS receives your request, it can take up to 60 days for the agency to process it.
