Can I change something that I hit the wrong button?

You sure can! You can navigate around the program as needed. In some sections, you may need to answer some questions again to get back into an area but you can still adjust your entries.

If you need to start over from scratch, you can use "Clear & Start Over" under Tax Tools. More information about Clear & Start Over is below.

My 2023 tax return was changed by IRS. The overpayment to be applied to 2024 was eliminated. It is still carried forward to 2024 return. How do I change this amount?
