Can anyone tell me how to amend my return if I stated I did not decline health insurance and my company said I did for a couple of the months.

I forgot to add I was on the Healthcare Exchange for those months. I need to pay back some of the money, but Turbotax won't ask me the question regarding if I was offered insurance or not now.

You can revisit the "Deductions and Credits" section of your tax return. Follow the instructions below:

1. Login to your TurboTax online account.
2. Select "Federal" on the left.
3. Click on "Deductions and Credits".
4. Look for "Medical". Here is where you can edit your healthcare/medical information entered in your tax return.

Katrina, thank you. That is exactly what I have been doing. The problem is that I cannot get the question, "Were you offered insurance from your employer?" to pop up, so I can put in the months that I was apparently offered insurance (unbeknowst to me until I received my husband's 1095c form), which will reduce my refund. Do you have any idea how to get to this particular question that was asked in the original interview, so that I can make my corrections? Thanks so much!

It appears that the form in question is the 1095A. That is the form that would affect your refund.

1. In the upper right, search for 1095-A.
2. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
3. Answer Yes on the Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan? 
4. Enter your 1095-A info on the next screen and select Continue.
