--- All returns 2019-2021 were done online.
--- I went to: "Tax Home", "Your tax returns & documents", and selecting "Amend (change) 2021" return.
--- Turbotax says: if you want to amend with the Turbotax Desktop product you need to select the product (windows or Mac) and download the desktop software.
--- I went through the process and was provided a license code with the 2021 download.
--- I repeated the same process for 2020 & 2019 but was never taken through the same order process like I was with 2021, and there was no license code provided. Instead, after I selected the windows version (vs Mac) it immediately downloaded it.
--- In my turbotax account (under downloads) it only shows the 2021 download (and associated license code) even though I also downloaded 19/20. The only difference being that turbotax didn't take me through the normal order process (verify address, etc) or provide a license code for 19/20, only for 21'. What's going on?
So I'm wondering:
1) Is a license code needed for 19' & 20'?
2) Is this a normal software tax year download or some sort of a version with limitations that won't allow all normal functions?
