Amending a 2023 1040 - update software?

In 2025, Ttax has found updates to the 2023 software in the desk top version. Should I go ahead and update 2023 or refuse the update and amend the return with the non-updated software that was used in 2023?

Definitely update the software before you begin your amended return for 2023.  Be sure to include your state if necessary as well.
