Amended Return 2019 I am trying to amend my return because I put the RRB-1099-R on the RRB-1099 form in error. I can add the corrected RRB-1099-R but do not know how to correct the original RRB-1099. Please help.

To enter, change or delete benefits reported on form SSA-1099 or a RRB-1099

• Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
• Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
• Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
• Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
• On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button

Or enter ssa-1099 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to ssa-1099

Remove the amounts entered for the RRB-1099

I corrected that in the file but it doesn't allow you to do it in the amend version which creates a 1040X.

Did you remove the RRB-1099 amount in the original return before or after you started to amend the tax return?
