If your divorce agreement is dated January 1, 2019, or after you don't have to include information about alimony payments you received on your federal income tax return since it isn't considered income or a deduction.
If your divorce agreement is dated prior to 2019, and you need to add alimony to your return, you will have to amend your return. You should not amend your return until your return has been accepted and you have received any refund you might be expecting.
To amend your return, see the following TurboTax Help article: How do I amend my federal tax return for this year?
