I've got a few small questions. I just received a stimulus bank card in the mail, but it was addressed to me using my wife's maiden name. I decided I better check on the tax forms I submitted and make sure they were correct. It turns out, my name was correct, but I accidentally used her maiden name associated with her first name. We are married (7 years) and filling jointly, she has taken my last name, and I assume it is what appears on her current social security card. Do I need to amend my taxes to correct her name? Her social security number is correct.
Also, am I going to have trouble using this visa debit card from the government since it has the incorrect name on it?
Thanks for your help in advance!

If your tax return was filed electronically and the return was accepted, then the social security administration also still has your wife's maiden name on file in their records. There must be an exact match of the name and social security number for an electronically filed tax return to go through.
This may be why it was set up that way in TurboTax.
You are not likely to encounter problems using the card. In most instances married women in the U.S are okay to use either of their names in most situations.
I would suggest withdrawing the cash from the card and depositing it into the account that you normally use to avoid potential issues.
