I filled out the online TT forms for both 2019 federal and state taxes this past April. A few days later, I received email notification that both returns had been accepted ("Your federal tax return was accepted by the IRS.") and I received the projected refunds several weeks later. However, I neglected to print a copy of my 1040 and state form, but when I log into my TT account, it behaves as if my federal form is incomplete (as is my state form). I tried the TT robo-help (utterly worthless) and finally was placed into queue for a human, but was then told the wait times were "greater than 1 hour", and was then told I keep my line in the queue and would receive a call back. That was nearly five hours ago and still... crickets.
Would dearly love an explanation as to what's going on and guidance as to how I can print my fed and state forms (needed for both record-keeping AND a state renter's rebate).

That's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online.

I was skeptical but this turns out to be exactly the case. I apparently began the return under one user ID, then created another a few weeks later when I went to finish it. Luckily (after waiting n hold for about 4.5 hours), my very patient tech support rep (Lynn) was able to walk me through the process of identifying the list of potential logins and we zeroed in on the correct one, changed its p/w, and then I was able to d/l the completed returns.
