Hello! My parents told me to file as a dependent for them when doing my 2019 taxes and I did and received my return. However, they found out after I had already received my return that since I am 22 and not living with them or receiving housing payments from them, I am not a dependent anymore. So now I have filed as dependent but they didn't not claim me. I'd like to amend my tax return so that I can correct this and I am also curious if this makes me eligible for the stimulus payment once the amendment is made. Any advice on what to do in my situation is helpful! Thanks in advance!

amend so you claim yourself. can't say if you'll get stimulus once you amend, but if not you'll get it when filing 2020 return.
If you are a full time student they can still claim you if you are under 24 on Dec 31. Even if you don't live with them.
