I have numerous times and they simply give me the run-around and pass me to different representatives and nothing gets resolved.

You have waited a long time to look into it.  Did you e-file it or mail it?

No, I started trying to get information immediately in April of 2016 and a few times since then and I E-filed it

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
Do you still have any of those old emails?  Maybe your return was rejected and was never actually filed.
