I just amended my original tax return but i did not get an email or anything showing that I amended it, only that the turbo acct has been update and accessed. and my refund still shows the original amount when I supposed to get more back. Do I need to redo the whole process again? I need to file 1040x form to get the stimulus from having my baby in 2021

It depends. If your refund still shows the original amount you may not have completed the amend process.

If you amend a return, you still have to file it. Do you remember either e-filing or mailing your amended return? If you didn't, then you prepared, but did not file an amendment.
