Hello, I would no longer like to e-file with turbotax. I would like a refund for my order.

An e-file cannot be canceled once submitted. I'd your return is rejected you don't have to fix it and resubmit however, if you used TurboTax Online it is nonrefundable. There are 3 steps in order to submit your return. 1. Review your order. This is where you see things like the product you used, Amy add on like Live or MAX, and any and everything else you are paying for. Do not skip through this step. The 2nd step is your return details such as your direct deposit, efiling vs printing refund advance, etc. And the final step is to actually submit your return. This step is commonly looked over.

Because you went through all these steps, you agreed that you were happy with the product therefore you cannot get refunded. Because the efiling cannot be canceled, the forms used cannot be returned which is why you won't be refunded. If they refunded your order, you'd still get your efiling and taxes submitted which is obviously not how you stay in business.

Assuming that you have not already e-filed, you can clear and start over to remove all of your current year information.  Just do not start over, this will remove the current information that you have entered into the software.

Once you e-file your tax return, it can't be retrieved or canceled.  If your tax return is rejected, you don't have to fix it.

Once your tax return is accepted, the IRS takes over processing, and for status updates, you can check your TurboTax account or use the IRS tool Where's my Refund?.
